OBAMACARE: A POSSIBLE OLD FASHIONED SOLUTION TO AFFORDABLE CARE ACT COMPUTER GLITCHES
From ThinkProgress.org
Toney Atkins' suggestion: While computer glitches are being worked on the health care internet site, why doesn't the government simply send printed copies (yes, on paper -- remember paper?) to every citizen of the United States explaining the health exchanges and allowing them to make choices without having to deal with the hassles of the Internet? Back in the mid-80s, before many people had computers, booklets informing the public about HIV/AIDS were sent to all U.S. households and provided essential information as it was known at the time. Yes, it would be "snail mail" and probably expensive, but at least the public would be aware about what is on the Affordable Health Care Act site and be able to react in the old fashioned way. This would avoid our not having to listen to anti-Obamacare talking heads complain about computer glitches and not even giving the program a chance to work. The numbers joining might just increase from reading and filling out information on paper. Just sayin'.

Time to throw my guy out of Congress? – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs
From CNN.com
Toney Atkins comments: AMEN! Does anyone besides me see the "coincidence" that these lawmakers put their constituents through hell until the absolute last minute whenever such important issues as the current ones are being decided? It's very unfair to nervous citizens, particularly the poor and needy and those depending on government benefits, who sometimes worry themselves sick because Congress, especially Republicans, are unwilling to act. No matter what they might say in TV interviews, many of these Republican "misleaders" are dishonest, unpatriotic and un-Christian in their so-called tactics.
